Welcome!

Cub Scout Pack 206 provides fun activities that build character, citizenship, and fitness for boys and girls in grades K-5. Founded in 1949, we are the oldest continually active pack in Lawrence Township, NJ, and we currently have about 50 scouts and many active parent leaders.

Joining The Pack: All boys and girls in grades K-5 are welcome to join Pack 206 at any time during the year by contacting the Membership Chair or by registering here.

Scouts do not need to reside in Lawrence Township to join the Pack. We have scouts from Lawrence, Ewing, Pennington, Hopewell, and Princeton in our pack.

Pack Events: Annual events include the Pinewood Derby, Great Pumpkin Hunt, overnight outdoor and indoor camping events, Blue and Gold Banquet, Raingutter Regatta, Fishing Derby and more! Pack events are usually held once a month, typically on a weekend. Pack events are family-friendly.

Den Meetings: The Cubs in a pack are divided into small groups by grade level, called dens. Den meetings are usually twice per month, on a weeknight, and include fun and educational activities that help the scouts advance in rank. Currently most of our dens meet on Tuesday or Thursday nights.

Baloo Trainings for Leaders

Posted on Jul 5 2026 - 10:27pm

Baloo stands for Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation and it's a critical piece of education for scouting leaders. The course involves a 30-minute online component that must be completed before the outdoor, overnight in-person training. It can be completed here: https://training.scouting.org/learning-plans/1013

The pack needs new folks to take a Baloo course each year to help ensure we have the proper trained leadership for our camp outs! The best part is, the training is fun! Like a mini-retreat for leaders who love scouting and the outdoors, you'll make new friends and come back inspired and energized to put everything you learned into an amazing experience for your scouts!

There are a few training dates coming up soon! If you plan to attend camping events, please consider adding this to your calendar. Our pack reimburses leadership training costs, just let us know which you completed. (Note: You need to be a registered adult leader in the pack before taking this course). Aug & September are in the council just north of us, the Oct date is with our council at Ockanickon. Find the one that works best for your schedule!

August 15 - https://scoutingevent.com/358-BALOO#

Sept 12 - https://scoutingevent.com/358-BALOO#
